Being confident in classroom over a theory session is one thing but going out to make a movie is an entirely different ball game all together. Film making is not something you can just learn. About Film and Video Editors
Film and video editors edit footage for television shows, films, and music videos. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, use of digital filming has changed the work of a large number of editors. Today, nearly all editing work is done on a computer and editors often are trained in a specific type of editing software. In addition to editing skills, today’s film and video editors have experience in sound effects, special effects, and animation Simply put, VFX is about adding special effects to films, ads, TV shows etc. Today, every single movie or TV show uses VFXto make it much more interesting, to give it that 'special' feel which is just not possible through live shooting. This way, VFX & animation enhance the quality of each scene. This means that every film needs to hire an animation and/ or VFX studio to do the special effects for them. These studios employ creative & well-trained people to do this work. Which is why, there are hhuge career opportunities for creative people in production houses & studios.
